KOALA is one of the oldest article of Puccini Tannery. It is made on cow shoulders of the highest quality of french origin and it is 100% vegetable tanned, firm tempered and with beautiful colours.

KOALA is smooth, full grain, fattening is made with Sego, according to the old recipe of our Tannery, and other natural made oils in order to give elasticity and richness to the leather.

The tanning method using natural tannin extracts from Quebracho and Chestnut trees give a good firm structure to the leather and good elasticity. It will develop a nice and rich patina over time and use, which is typical of a natural vegetable tanned leather.

This high-quality leather is dyed through and finished with an artistic touch, resulting in unique color textures and variations that are sure to impress.

Our Maya leather is hand-made, ensuring the utmost attention to detail in every skin.

Compared to other leathers on the market, Maya is less greasy and waxy, providing a solid, durable texture that doesn't patina significantly over time.

This particular vacchetta type has a mix of animal grease and oils, that creates a medium
temper: not too soft and not too stiff.

Wax is vegetable tanned, dyed through, it has aniline finish and very nice pull up effect without annoying "lubricated feel". This leather is full grain what makes it different from similar ones. The grain is tight and very high quality with minimum imperfections.
